(More customer reviews)I was looking for a nice paper towel holder for my kitchen.I cook a lot and was hoping to find a simple, easy to clean dispenser.The Kamenstein unit looked good on paper, but in the real world it just do not work.

The base is oversized to keep it from tipping, but it was so large it just soaked up too much counter space.I could have lived with this if it actually worked with one hand, but the resistance mechanism was so stiff that I could not get a towel to rip free without holding the unit with two hands to keep it from tipping over.

To add insult to injury, the dispenser is made from a very easy to scratch stainless steel.

To summarize - this "one handed" towel holder takes two hands to operate and is difficult to clean.

Just avoid this.My old wood dispenser also needs two hands, but it is much smaller and practical.
