Roll doesn't spin - you just unravel what you want and tear.I use the paper towels with the smaller divisions and with this holder you don't waste so much.Great little towel holder.

(More customer reviews)There is nothing in the center of this holder to actually hold the paper in.When the roll gets past halfway its easy to just pull right out when ripping off a sheet.Had to buy a different one and threw this one out.

(More customer reviews)I'd return this paper towel holder if it were worth the time and effort, but it's not. You'd think assembly wouldn't be complicated. It's a paper towel holder for pete's sake. But the quality is shoddy, and the design is somewhat nonsensical. Paper towels easily fit through the center rod without removing anything. Great! So why, then, make the middle rod three separate pieces that need to be screwed together, as opposed to just one piece? Not so great. And upon screwing the middle rod to the base, the bottom of the base fell off. Because this is sold by Target, there's tax and shipping. So for about the same amount (maybe less), you can get a better made paper towel holder from Bed, Bath, & Beyond.

(More customer reviews)This paper towel holder is very nice. It has a weighted base which keeps it in place when tearing off a towel. The reason for the 4 stars is because the bar that helps the towels tear, has come off. I'm sure with the right kind of adhesive, it could be put back.

(More customer reviews)Good looking paper towel holder. It surprised me by arriving in a very small box; the holder comes in two parts which you screw together easily and then screw on to the base. It looks firm enough. I don't know if it will come apart with use. The only problem was that it moves when you pull a towel out; I put a non-skid rubber sheet underneath the base and it seems to hold it in place.
